... and chick flicks are our second nature
went over to cineworld yesterday with the intention to watch stardust, and gathering information from some sources, among others, according to Christine, Stardust is
"a movie about fantasy and all things magical"
sounds cool eh? thats the thing! it kinda reminds me of that unicorn theatre Daniel Radcliffe starred in, wats it called? EQUUS! nope, i did not catch that of cos, its at where .. West End? or some part in London that's really famous for it's theatres. n speaking of Daniel Radcliffe, somewhere at the back of my mind reminds me of a certain part in CGL school mag 2004 where someone quoted as to saying something about getting married to Daniel Radcliffe who's clad in a Giordano leather jacket and cool shades ?? HAHA HAHA
hrmm.. that was quoted, of cos by the Reincarnated Einstein of the then class of 2004 ~! if u're reading this my dear YY (n not Yin Ye, but Ying Yi) ... do leave me a msg cos I DARN FREAKING MISS UUUUUU~ yeah... i noe u're having summer hols now, back in our wonderful Pg island having slurps of ice kacang or cendol, with Penang Road Assam Laksa, or Lorong Selamat char koay teow and lemak laksa, or Hokkien Mee at a place so nice I wish I'm there with u.. of cos, u wouldnt miss going to Super Tanker coffee shop aite ? bites of hot, steamy, fresh, out-of-the-pan AKI PANCAKE ! shikes! i think i just tortured myself .. oh well!
anyways, back to the point, urs truly was of cos, again, LATE ! dun blame me, blame Dublin bus..! i waited at the bus stop for a whopping 25 minutes, bus-less. n because of my poor time management, we missed Stardust! ahh.. nvm... instead, we watched another movie that was recommended in the film times and also it appeared to look epic-ish, or Troy-ish? yup! Elizabeth: The Golden Age ! twas great nyways~! a lil confusing some parts but overall, it was .. good. ;)
there was a particular trailer, no, TWO trailers that caught my attention before the movie started ... one of which is from a fiction novel, an international bestseller, (i've seen it on MPH's top10 for many weeks earlier, so its kinda proven to be good) and the other's just a blockbuster ah... i haf a feeling both those shows will be really nice, as in like they will make u cry n cry (well, at least i noe I WILL) chick flick kinda thing.
first - P.S., I Love You. the theatrical trailer kinda reminds me of Just Like Heaven ? or 13 Going on 30? well, something like that .. u get d picture. and anyways, the author of the book, Cecilia Ahern hails from ireland so they shot the movie in Ireland of cos. I kinda cant wait to watch it n probly see a SPIRE in the backdrop? lol. trust me, this gonna be a damn good chick flick, and WATCH IT ! when it comes in Dec 21st. wich actually reminds me, thats after my exam oh god, thats so near, oh god i nid to study or i'll haf no time, n if that happens .. blablabla
i'll do the book review the next time around... along with some other Cecilia Ahern fictions.

second - August Rush. this trailer gave me the goosebumps. well, a lil. n according to good woman's instincts, this will yet also be a darn good movie. worth a watch.
so .. are chick flicks women's best friend?
